| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 10/15/05 AMERICAN GAMER to be included on MTV special Los Angeles, CA (Nov. 17th, 2005).....6161 Entertainment has licensed select footage from their upcoming high definition documentary, AMERICAN GAMER, to be used in the new MTV program FROM GAME TO FAME: THE CPL WORLD TOUR FINALS. AMERICAN GAMER, directed by James Boyd, is a high energy film about professional video game players, and the competitive world of e-Sports. The film blends interviews of top professional gamers with stunning machinima animation gaming footage to bring the world's largest e-Sports tournament to life. The film has just completed post-production, and will world premiere sometime in 2006. The AMERICAN GAMER crew will be traveling to New York to take part in the CPL World Tour Finals Event being held at the Nokia Theater on Tuesday, Nov. 22nd. Boyd will be screening selections of the AMERICAN GAMER documentary on a 50" plasma display at the 6161 promo booth, and showing original machinima gaming trailers at the 6161 video iPod kiosk. Blender Magazine will sponsor the exclusive after-party for hundreds of gamers from around the globe celebrating the conclusion of the Cyberathlete Professional League® (CPL) World Tour Finals. The party, which will be open to the general public, will be held at the Nokia Theater in Times Square. Presented by Intel, the CPL World Tour is the largest, first-ever, year-long competitive tour spotlighting the growing sport of video game competitions. Thirty two of the top gamers in world, from U.S.A to Turkey to Brazil to Singapore, will descend upon New York City to play for the largest purse in competitive gaming history ? $500,000 for just one game. The CPL World Tour Finals will culminate with a head-to-head competition between the top two finalists for a combined $250,000 in prizes.
